eFieldNotes is a veteran-owned small business operated by a former police officer turned technologist.

Over 10 years of law enforcement experience provided many opportunities to experience circumstances where frigid temperatures caused the ink in my pen to freeze, where rain caused notes to run off the page as quickly as I wrote them, or where I juggled identification cards, a notepad, a pen, and a flashlight at the same time while agitated individuals waited impatiently for me to finish copying down their information.

These experiences demonstrated the shortcomings of having pen and paper as the only available tools for capturing field notes on daily basis and lead to the development of the eFieldNotes mobile app.
